Elevate your social network: 3 minutes with the right person can change your life forever.

During a networking reception yesterday, I had the privilege of connecting with Minister Sudds, Minister of Families, Children and Social Development. Among others, I learnt more about her valuable work and the progress being made in delivering $10-a-day care throughout Canada.

As a result of this brief encounter, I was able to gain new insights from her perspective, including challenges and opportunities that I was previously oblivious to. 

And perspective is everything. It shapes your thoughts, habits and character and ultimately, the life you're living. It can give you the ability to look in the same place and see things that were not there before (or that were there but you weren't just equipped to see).
